Vibe coding!
AI is not necessarily bad. People just make it out to be way worse than it needs to be. And they’re kind of right on the front that reliance on AI can lead to misunderstanding of the concepts that it provides, as well as generally ignoring its output. However, with me, that’s not the case.
As a Software Engineering Student, I usually had to rely on other projects’ structures to start. In the Javascript World, you’re given boilerplates and sometimes – not even that. But when it comes to things like Electron projects like Audinspect, you run into the issue: How do I start if I’m an inexperienced loser? Well, that’s where AI comes in play.
You can prompt Visual Studio Code to make a project structure for you that replicates world-class projects that run on what you want without overcomplicating it. You can start out, iterate, work on things you never thought you could and when you get stuck, you can just ask AI to fill in the blanks.
Now that’s what I call Vibe coding – but the person who coined the term, Andrej Karpathy, laid it out to be just prompting your app into existence without any quality control, checks, and brutal testing to make sure that the app runs performantly and safely.
Vibe coding in my situation merely adopts 40% of its usecase. Sure, you start a project and iterate on it with AI, but you also get the ultimate experience by being involved, looking, understanding and ultimately saying “Hey, an error! Let’s fix it”, look at it, test it and make sure it’s all great.
That’s the basis for all my personal projects. Try making, if it succeeds, iterate, work on it, and then present it. We’re in an age where any hole can be filled with AI, and if it tries hallucinating, it’s up to you to find out. Read the damn code
Alright, Clickbait time’s over. What has changed? What happened this 2025? Here’s an unordered list
- I befriended Atmozfears and became a bit more involved in the production process.
- As a result, my music doesn’t sound as clapped as before. Still sounds clapped, numbers say a lot.
- I wish everyone had a friend like him. Sends demos, cares,
- Speaking of numbers, I’ve TANKED. Not just me, but my best friends like Voltra. It’s still impressive, just not as big as it used to be.
- I made a lot of friends that helped me get over some shit
- I stepped into my first (tragic) relationship.
- I took risky investments with my money that paid off
- I bought:
- Serum 2
- a mixer
- a whole 32″ monitor that’s been GRAFTED. No joke. It’s WILD
- A new bed. I was sleeping on the couch, this is… Slightly better.
- YouTube Premium. Canceled it because my mom is paying for the family version, on her own volition. She was looking for ways and envied that I paid for it.
- LOTS of games for my Xbox.
- Started gambling with money that isn’t even mine. It’s basically a game of betting “double or nothing” with the stock market. If you fall below your starting bet at a set amount of time, you lose the money, but if you win, you get a percentage of that money on top of the money you paid. For the idiots, if it’s a 92% stake, and you put in 10$ out of your 110$ account, you’ll get 119.2$ if you win, 100 if you lose. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
- I bought:
- Went to Gamescon 2025.
- Had BIG DRAMA during a competition. Apparently, I played so terribly (because I was FRIGHTENED) but consistently that the judges kept me for 20 minutes. One of them got CANCELED.
- Wrote software that helped me, my friends, and others.
- Released SOLACE & FORTITUDE
- Got slightly big on X (fka Twitter).
- I’M A DAMN SEARCH RESULT. Try typing “At the crib eating straight up stuff”. I guarantee that the result will pop up before you search it fully.
- Twitter is long gone. The site isn’t what it used to be, for better or for worse. You cannot call X Twitter because it simply isn’t.
- Realized who my real friends were and who the fakes were.
- Enrolled in college, made best friends.
- Reformed my server
I’m also thankful for several friends that enriched my career and brain. Among them, stand out:
- Lucia Scarlet (aka voltra)
- Tim van de Stadt (aka TVDS/Atmozfears)
- Bram (aka Terrox)
- Hazel (aka Hemeltijd)

- Dario (aka noctade)
- Dunja (aka sunni)

And lots more. I can’t name them on top of my head. But needless to say – couldn’t have done this year without em.
